DAY HOCKEY TOURNAMENT

September 3rd-5th, 2011

Open to all USA and Canada hockey registered teams

 REGISTRATION IS CLOSED

· Mite (May offer A and B based upon the number of teams)

· Squirt A-B $1249

· Peewee AA-A-B $1249

· Bantam AA-A-B $1299

· Midget 16AA-A           $1299

- Midget 18A/High School $1299

· Other divisions may be added based upon interest

Game Format:

· 4 Game Guarantee

· (3) 12 minute stop time periods

- 5 Minute 4 on 4 Sudden Victory OT for all Round Robin Games

· Awards for 1st and 2nd place teams

· Championship banner

- Team  Stats Posted to  www.sonoranleague.com

· Games played at various Phoenix Metro area rinks

· USA Hockey Sanction number 12AZ001

All teams must be USA Hockey registered. A USA Hockey 1-T roster must be provided prior to the start of the tournament. All players participating on a team must appear on this roster.

Points for round robin games will be as follows:

· 4 points for regulation win

· 3 points for overtime win

· 2 points for overtime tie

· 1 point for overtime loss

- 0 points for regulation loss

At this time we are plnning to hold all games at either Polar Ice in Gilbert or Polar Ice in Chandler. We are working to secure more hotels in that area.
